African Network of Adolescent & Young Persons Development (ANAYD) is a regional organization working for and with adolescents and young people in their diversities which include ( adolescents girls and young women (AGYW), adolescents and young people living with HIV (AYPLHIV), young key populations (YKPs) and young people living with disabilities (YPLWD)) both infected or affected with HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria. It was form 2015 in Nigeria, but properly inaugurated on 29th September 2017.
To promote fundamental human rights and gender equality of adolescent and young people in their diversities.
To promote comprehensive sexual reproductive health and right information and services for adolescent and young people in their diversities.
To facilitate access to free and comprehensive prevention, treatment, care and support for adolescent and young people in their diversities.
To provide and sustain a platform for adolescents and young people in their diversities to come together, exchange ideas through the instrument of peer support groups and forums.
To facilitate meaningful involvement of adolescent and young people in their diversities in program design, development, implementations, monitoring and evaluation at all levels.
To facilitate access to social economic support for adolescents and young people in their diversities in the country and Africa.
 
                
                
                Welcome to the African Network of Adolescents and Young Persons Development (ANAYD). Since our founding in 2015, we have been committed to creating a better future for young Africans through health education, advocacy, and empowerment programs.
Our work spans across Nigeria and West Africa, focusing on critical issues like HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria, gender-based violence, and digital skills training. We believe in the power of youth to drive positive change in their communities.

ANAYD implements various programs focused on health, education, and empowerment to address the unique challenges facing African youth.
Malaria prevention and treatment initiatives, including distribution of insecticide-treated nets, community education, and access to testing and medication.
Our Malaria program focuses on:
TB screening, prevention, and treatment support programs, with a focus on early detection and reducing TB transmission among vulnerable populations.
Our TB program includes:
GBV prevention, awareness, and support services, including safe spaces, counseling, and advocacy for survivors of gender-based violence.
Comprehensive digital literacy and skills training programs, including coding, web development, and digital entrepreneurship for economic empowerment.
Our Digital Skills program offers:
 
            Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health programs focusing on improving healthcare access and outcomes for mothers and children.
Our RMNCAH program includes:
Comprehensive COVID-19 response programs including prevention, education, vaccination support, and community resilience initiatives.
Our COVID-19 program includes:
Educational initiatives focused on youth development, skills acquisition, and knowledge empowerment for sustainable future opportunities.
Our Education program includes:
Promoting gender equality, human rights protection, and advocacy initiatives to create more inclusive and equitable communities across Africa.
Our Gender & Human Rights program includes:
Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights initiatives empowering youth with knowledge, access to services, and advocacy for their health rights.

            Youth-led environmental initiatives addressing climate change through education, advocacy, and sustainable community projects.
Our Climate Change program includes:
Community-based initiatives that bring health education, testing services, and resources directly to underserved communities across Nigeria and West Africa.
Since 2015, ANAYD has made significant strides in improving the health and wellbeing of young people across Nigeria and West Africa.
Expanded healthcare access to 75,000+ young people across 32 communities, a 40% increase from previous year.
Launched comprehensive mental health program reaching 18,500 adolescents with counseling and support services.
Distributed 42,000+ PPE kits and conducted vaccination awareness campaigns reaching 120,000 people.
Pivoted to digital health services, training 3,200+ youth in digital skills and launching telemedicine platform.
Our focus areas span across various sectors to ensure comprehensive development and support for African youth.
Our dedicated team of professionals and volunteers work tirelessly to advance ANAYD's mission across Nigeria and West Africa.

Co-facilitated training of 35 young people on Google digital skills and ICT solutions across 10 LGAs of Kaduna State.
Co-facilitated training of 45 Young Advocates on Strategic Advocacy campaign across 7 Local Government of Kaduna state.
Through funding by UNICEF supported participation of 21 adolescents and young people for African Youth Academy.
Collaborated to host the International AIDS and STI Conference in Africa Youth pre-conference at Durban International Conference Center (DICC), South Africa.
Hosted the Civil Society Accountability Forum at Barcelona Hotel, Abuja with nationwide participation.
Co-led the Pre-Conference at Army Resource Center, Abuja with pan-African participation from Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Senegal, Liberia, Cameroon, and more.
Led the West and Central Africa Youth Regional Consultation for UN High Level meeting on HIV/AIDS, resulting in a youth position statement for the 2021 Political Declaration.
Implemented comprehensive health education programs focusing on sexual reproductive health, HIV/AIDS awareness, and life skills development for adolescents.
Established youth leadership programs to empower young people with essential skills for community development and advocacy.
Provided digital literacy and skills training to enhance youth employability and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Implemented various community engagement initiatives to address local challenges and promote youth participation.
