ANAYD is dedicated to improving access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services for adolescents and young people across Africa, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions about their health.
Key SRHR Projects and Initiatives
Social Networking Testing (SNT) Project
A USD51,000 EGPAF-supported initiative focused on HIV Testing Services for adolescents and young people:
- Coverage: 9 Local Government Areas across Benue, Lagos, and Rivers states
- Target: Reaching 71,000 adolescents and young people with HIV Testing Services
- Duration: 6 months (April-September 2023)
- Partner: Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF)
HIV Self Testing Initiative
A comprehensive HIV self-testing program implemented in Lagos State:
- Achievement Highlights:
- 18,500 people reached with HIVST information
- 18,500 HIV self-testing kits distributed
- Comprehensive result tracking and follow-up support
- Coverage: Lagos State
- Partner: JHPIEGO
